An excellent prospect to join Equans, an expanding multinational business where you will be part of the ever-growing Electrical & Communication team in Perth.

Equans Electrical and Communications in Osborne Park are looking for a skilled communications technician to round out the team’s skillset. The ideal candidate will have completed a Cert III in Electronics and Communications and hold their Registered Cabler Licence with Co-axial, Fibre, and Structured cabling endorsements.

Role overview

- Installation, testing and commissioning of various cabling & communication cabling systems in commercial environment.
- Work within a team to deliver communications projects in accordance with Company standards and to meet project time frames.
- Ensuring customer concerns are proactively addressed.
- Establish and maintaining relationships with customers, colleagues and Managers of the Company.
- Effectively manage administrative requirements.
- Attend toolbox meetings and training as required.
- Ability to determine job priorities and to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and processes.
- Help shape the next generation by supporting and supervising apprentices.
- Work a combination of day and night shift.

About you:

- You are a fully qualified electrician with data and communications experience.
- You are looking for an opportunity to work for a tier one operation.
- You want to work on large worksites on substantial projects.
- You are able to work both autonomously and well within a team.

Skills and experience:

- Cert III in Electronics and Communications.

- Registered Cabler Licence with endorsed Co-axial, Fibre, and Structured cabling.

- High risk WP highly regarded.

- Current "C" Class Drivers Licence
