School Learning Support Assistant

Full-time or Part time

We are seeking a full-time OR part-time Primary Teacher's Assistant to work during term time. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with a team of collegiate educators and wonderful Primary School students where the focus is on the whole person. Key Selection Criteria:

The successful candidate must

- have attained a minimum qualification of Certificate III in Education Support (CHC30213) (required)

- show a sound understanding of the NSW Australian primary curriculum (required)

- understand the principles and practices of Steiner education, or show a willingness to learn
- demonstrate a high level of competence in making adjustments for students who need support




- have hands on experience or understanding of working with neurodivergent children in an educational setting, with a nurturing and inclusive approach
- demonstrate a sound understanding of differentiation practices and is skilled in applying these understandings
- have excellent standards in literacy and numeracy
- have an excellent command of spoken English
- have a minimum of one year's experience in working in schools
- work well as part of a team and communicate well with colleagues

- Take initiative and be versatile, but also take direction from teachers as required

- Understand the importance of confidentiality
