Senior Project
Manager – Customer Migration (Contract)

Oho is an Australian workforce compliance platform that continuously monitors workforce suitability credentials in care and community organisations. We help teams responsible vulnerable communities stay on top of rostering people with Working with Children Checks, NDIS Worker Screening, and other regulatory requirements, so they can focus on enabling quality care and support at the front line. We’re launching a brand-new version of our platform, and we need someone brilliant to lead the migration of our entire customer base to the new experience. Oho is a start up on the journey to scaling, and our customers come first. So, this is not the kind of PM role where internal stakeholder management, vendor management or gantt charts rule your time.
This role is for someone who enjoys the requirement to think at scale, right size the effort and deliver for customers. You’ll be front and centre with customers, building confidence, mapping out the go/ no go criteria, ensuring customers experience minimum impost on their time and maximising adoption and value from stakeholders using the platform. Reporting directly to our CEO, you’ll work closely with engineering, product, and customer teams to plan, coordinate, and deliver migrations on time and with care.
You’ll own the communication, the sequencing, the risk calls, and ultimately the experience our customers have through this transition. What You’ll Be Doing
Leading the end-to-end migration of our customer base to Oho’s new platform
Rapidly validate the existing migration plan, customer sequencing, timelines, risk controls and success criteria. This will have gaps and you will need to find them quickly,
edit the plan and move the team to start delivering for customers.
Be the go-to person for customers throughout the transition, building trust and keeping everyone supported so the change remains exciting and easy for customers.
Coordinate across engineering, product, customer success, and marketing to keep everything moving on time. For context, this involves three nimble peers, not three disparate and unwieldy teams. Proactively identify and mitigate risks, especially for complex accounts
Guide the team on up-to-date customer training experience and resources development to support a smooth transition
Leave behind clear documentation so the team can carry the torch after you’re done What We’re Looking For
Proven experience managing complex projects in SaaS start ups, even if you’re not a “career project manager”.
Leading customer migration projects or multiple customer implementations at once A track record of ramping up fast in contract or consulting engagements
Equally comfortable talking to engineers and a wide variety of customers - and knows how to influence across both A pragmatic systems thinker who builds just enough structure without over-engineering
Uses AI assisted workflows and enjoys leveling up your skills on this every week. (We love to share these lessons with each other)
Bonus points if you’ve got product management or customer success experience. These are skills that will make you extra helpful in this role and likely to have fun doing it. The Details
