About the opportunity In this role, you will lead the Talent Acquisition team, responsible for delivering contemporary, customer-focused recruitment solutions and services across Toowoomba Catholic Schools.

Reporting to the Manager: Employee Services, you will drive proactive sourcing strategies to attract, engage, and retain high-quality talent, while building and sustaining strong talent pipelines for current and future workforce needs. You will establish and maintain effective partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders, contributing to a collaborative culture. This role plays a critical part in aligning recruitment strategies with organisational and strategic priorities, ensuring workforce planning initiatives are supported and contributing to long-term capability and retention outcomes.

About you

- A bachelor’s degree from an Australian University in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Law or related discipline
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Substantial experience in full cycle recruitment and talent acquisition, with a focus on strategic sourcing and proactive recruitment methods.
- Expertise in building and maintaining talent pools, using platforms like SEEK, LinkedIn, and industry forums.
- Solid understanding of and experience using sourcing techniques and tools (i.e. social networks).

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, to work effectively with internal stakeholders and support organisational goals.
