Toowoomba Regional Council is seeking an exceptional strategic leader to drive the development and delivery of initiatives that will create meaningful, long-term economic and region building outcomes.
As the Program Lead Impact and Legacy, you will lead strategic advocacy, partnerships, relationships, and cross-organisational coordination to ensure the Toowoomba Region is positioned to maximise the opportunities arising from Brisbane 2032 — creating a legacy that will benefit generations to come.

? How to Be Successful in This Position
You will bring:
✔️ Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Management, Economic Development or a related discipline
✔️ Substantial management-level experience
✔️ Demonstrated strategic leadership across complex environments
✔️ Experience leading change and continuous improvement initiatives
✔️ Strong stakeholder engagement, collaboration and advocacy capability
✔️ Expertise in strategic planning, governance and communication
✔️ Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
✔️ Experience delivering strategic projects and advocacy programs across government, industry and community sectors
✔️ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
✔️ A robust commitment to Honesty, Accountability, Respect, Teamwork, Safety and Wellbeing
Post-graduate qualifications in Project Management, Local Government, Business or Leadership will be highly regarded.
