**The Role: Operations Manager**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of our production processes and manage procurement activities. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to our high standards of quality. You will work closely with sales teams, supervisors, and tradespeople to optimise production efficiency and streamline processes.

As an Operations Manager, your ability to manage scheduling, procurement, and workflow will be key to maintaining smooth operations in our workshop. We are looking for someone with a strong background in a similar setting who is ready to contribute to our success and help drive our business forward.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of production jobs to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
- Oversee procurement activities, including sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams and supervisors to meet all project requirements and deadlines.
- Monitor and manage production progress,



making adjustments as necessary to address any challenges or delays.
- Implement best practices in production and procurement to improve workflow and resource utilisation.
- Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

**About You**:

- Extensive experience in operations management, preferably within a similar industry.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and build effective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on clarity and teamwork.
- A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and inventory management systems.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
