Warehouse Manager - Wangara

T.M.R. is a mid-sized, family-owned metal recycling company with operations in Rockingham, Osborne Park and Wangara. Operating for more than 15 years, we pride ourselves on industry expertise, strong customer relationships, and a commitment to safe, efficient recycling practices.

The Position

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead operations at our Wangara processing facility. This newly created, hands-on role is responsible for the effective and efficient management of all day-to-day warehouse activities.

To Be Considered for This Position, You Will Have:

- Strong knowledge of the second-hand metal recycling sector, including metal types, buying structures, processing methods, and operational requirements.
- Solid understanding of the Perth recycling market, gained through relevant industry experience.
- Extensive management experience in a similar operational role, including supervising staff and managing resources to meet KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Wangara yard, including:





- Accountability for achieving branch KPIs.
- Management of warehouse door trade activities.
- Oversight of daily metal processing to maximise returns.
- Supporting the logistics department with vehicle movement coordination.
- Assisting the Export Manager with container loading and schedule management (approx. 15 containers per month).
- Ensuring compliance with all procedures relating to:

- Occupational Health and Safety
- Cash handling and accounting
- Police-mandated copper tracing requirements

Required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the metal recycling industry and/or in a management role with strong familiarity across metal groups.
- Full time work rights in Australia (citizen, permanent resident, or valid work visa).

Salary

This is a newly established position. Salary will be negotiated based on experience and the value the successful applicant can bring to T.M.R.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
