As an Occupational Therapist you will play a vital role in supporting older people to live safely and independently at home. You’ll work with clients, families and multidisciplinary teams to provide thoughtful, evidence based therapy interventions that make a real difference in everyday life. Your Opportunity This role is a full time position based in Oran Park, with flexibility to consider part-time hours for suitable candidates. In this role, you will deliver specialist Occupational Therapy services within the community. You will assess functional capacity, recommend therapeutic interventions and equipment, support prevention strategies, and collaborate closely with care teams to optimise client outcomes. You will ensure therapy services are delivered with empathy, professionalism, and clinical excellence always centred on what matters most to the client. With compassion and clinical expertise, you will: Person ‑ Centred Care Treat all clients with empathy, dignity and respect Support clients to live their daily lives in ways that align with their goals, preferences and wellbeing Clinical Excellence Conduct comprehensive functional assessments Develop, document, and review Occupational Therapy plans and recommendations Deliver high‑quality therapeutic interventions to achieve optimal client outcomes Escalate changes or concerns promptly to relevant stakeholders Documentation & Compliance Maintain timely,



accurate and compliant clinical documentation Ensure records meet legislative, professional and Anglicare requirements Teamwork & Collaboration Share specialist knowledge with care workers, clinicians and operational teams Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Support clients with urgent or complex needs through responsive clinical decision‑making Work Health & Safety Contribute to a strong safety culture Follow WHS policies and procedures Report hazards, incidents and near misses as required What You will Bring You are a compassionate and capable Occupational Therapist who values collaboration and client‑centred care. You enjoy working autonomously in the community while being part of a supportive multidisciplinary team. You will also need: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist Minimum 2 years’ post‑graduate experience Experience working in aged care and/or community settings Strong assessment, problem‑solving and communication skills Proficiency with electronic clinical documentation systems Current driver’s licence, insurance and own car National Police Check clearance You will thrive if you are: Clinically confident and client‑focused Organised with excellent time‑management skills Comfortable working independently in the community Collaborative, adaptable and solution‑focused Why Anglicare Sydney?
