Overview See yourself in our team We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to support and enable the successful execution projects. This is a permanent position, working under the direction of the Head of PMO to appropriately scope, plan and execute projects and initiatives using internal resources and 3rd party vendors to achieve agreed outcomes. The Senior IT Project Manager is a key liaison with both clients and internal customers to deliver on approved initiatives and projects varying in size and complexity. This role may see you working with stakeholders to understand business needs, obtain, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for business change to inform required solutions. How you'll make an impact On a day to day basis you will: Represent Gallagher Bassett, acting as the main point of contact with Clients for project deliverables Build strong relationships through engagement with business stakeholders, colleagues, other project managers and other key stakeholders across all stages of the project Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to facilitate and positively influence solution development and operational support Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering meetings Working with the Internal customers and stakeholders to support change initiatives, appropriately challenging decisions and risks to outcomes of project deliverables Scope initial deliverables of project by co-ordinating internal teams and experts Analyse prior similar project and initiatives to ensure lessons learned are applied to future work Present project plans, progress, budget tracking, analysis,
and outcomes succinctly and transparently and be comfortable altering your plan to reach revised timelines or goals Hold activity owners accountable for their deliverables Track the progress of deliverables and be comfortable highlighting key risks and the mitigation of these risks with the activity owners Create mechanisms to measure the value delivered back into the Gallagher Bassett business Sustain any improvements or program changes made over time, ensuring that changes implemented are imbedded and understood within the business; About you We are interested in hearing from people who have: Strong demonstrated IT Project Management experience Proven skills in delivering operational or incremental systems of work improvement initiatives using Agile, Prince2, CAPM, PMP, or similar principles Eligible for Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) Baseline Security Clearance Advanced facilitation and workshop skills Change management experience Demonstrated ability to manage client and internal relationships and corresponding timelines within each, where project ownership may be joint/shared Excellent planning, prioritisation and analytical ability Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation and influencing skills The ability to work in a fast-paced environment Why Gallagher Bassett?
