About The Role

Due to our continued growth and success, we are now seeking motivated self-starters to join the team at Whyalla branch as the Trade Assistant taking the opportunity to learn, grow and upskill to be a Conveyor Technician trainee, to assist our trade-qualified technicians with the maintenance, service, repair, and assembly of conveyor components and systems.

This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career through our Belt Splicing Traineeship Program. You will have the chance to earn a nationally recognised qualification and receive a fully company-funded Certificate III in Polymer Processing, along with a permanent full-time position with an industry leader!





What do we need from you?

You must demonstrate a solid commitment to workplace safety and hold a current Driver’s Licence. Previous experience as a Trade Assistant, ideally within a related industry such as manufacturing or mining, is preferred, along with good mechanical aptitude and well‑developed communication and numerical skills. The role requires flexibility, including the ability to work on‑call and undertake overtime when required.

You will be required to undergo a full pre‑employment medical and a National Police Check. While not essential, it is highly desirable that you hold relevant tickets such as Forklift, Working at Heights, Dogger, Basic Rigging, or Confined Space.
