About the Role

Bucher Municipal seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Service Advisor with strong administrative skills to manage service workflows and deliver a high standard of customer service.

Drawing on technical knowledge gained within the mobile plant and equipment industry, the ideal candidate will confidently liaise with technicians and supervisors, monitor job progress, prepare quotes and invoices, and communicate effectively with customers to provide timely updates. They will also maintain accurate documentation and ensure a smooth, end-to-end service process.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Deliver professional customer service by managing enquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Accurately identify customer concerns and provide advice on products, equipment, and service options
- Coordinate with scheduler, technicians, and supervisors to monitor job progress and provide timely updates to customers and ensure clear communication throughout the service process
- Generate work orders,



service reports and produce detailed quotes using Dynamics
- Identify additional repair requirements and obtain customer approvals
- Process and invoice all completed workshop jobs promptly and complete the month end process on time.
- Ensure availability of parts, labour, and consumables for scheduled work

Technical Knowledge and skills

- Relevant experience in customer service or administrative role, preferably within the mobile plant and equipment industries.
- Experience in using Dynamics or other ERP systems (preferred)
- Strong customer service mindset with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proven ability to engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Versatile, adaptable and solutions-focused approach
- Technical knowledge or familiarity with Bucher products and equipment (advantageous)
- Experience working with a mobile workforce or similar service environment (desirable)
