We’re working with a large asset-intensive organisation seeking a senior Enterprise Solution Architect to lead a current-state assessment and target-state design across enterprise project management and document governance.

This is a strategic architecture engagement focused on a complex project management tooling landscape, spanning small internal initiatives through to major capital works and billion-dollar construction programs.

The organisation currently has a fragmented ecosystem of tools, platforms, and ways of working. Large-scale projects are already operating within an established Oracle P6 setting, which is not expected to change. The focus of this engagement is to assess the broader landscape and design a tiered, fit-for-purpose architecture for smaller and mid-tier projects, while considering how existing enterprise platforms can be better leveraged.

The assignment

You will engage with senior stakeholders across the business, assess the current project management and document governance environment, and develop a clear set of target-state architecture options.

The role requires someone who understands project controls, cost controls, construction-style delivery environments, and enterprise-scale project management platforms. This is not an Agile coaching or Scrum Master role.

Key responsibilities

- Assess the current project management tooling and document governance landscape
- Engage with GMs and senior business stakeholders




- Review existing tools including Oracle P6, Oracle EPM, EcoSys, Microsoft Project, and related platforms
- Identify duplication, gaps, dying platforms, and opportunities for consolidation
- Design a tiered target-state architecture based on project size, complexity, risk, and governance needs
- Recommend fit-for-purpose tooling and governance options
- Produce clear architecture recommendations to support business case approval
- Potentially support the next phase of delivery or implementation

Ideal background

We’re looking for a senior architect with experience across:

- Enterprise Solution Architecture
- Large project management or PMO technology transformations
- Construction, infrastructure, transport, utilities, or capital works environments
- Project controls and cost controls
- Oracle P6 / Oracle EPM ecosystem
- EcoSys, Microsoft Project, or similar project management platforms
- Document governance and project documentation processes
- Waterfall / Prince2 delivery environments
- Senior stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation

This is a high-impact architecture engagement suited to someone who can quickly understand a complex enterprise environment and provide practical, commercially sensible recommendations.
