As we embark on an exciting growth journey, we're seeking a dynamic Territory Manager in Victoria to join our team on a 12 month contract basis.
Role Overview:
Are you ready to take your love for pets and people to the next level? We're on the lookout for a driven and passionate Territory Manager to join our team! In this dynamic 12 month contract role, you'll be the face of Proudi across your region—building strong relationships, growing sales, and helping more pet parents discover the benefits of our premium, human-grade pet food.
You'll work closely with and be part of a tight-knit, energetic Sales Team that genuinely loves what they do. This is your chance to join a brand that's shaking things up in the pet food world—backed by high-quality products, a passionate community, and a clear mission to raise the bar in pet nutrition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow sales within an assigned territory by promoting our products to retail stores, professionals pet service providers, and distributors.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular visits, and education to help add value and ensure they can confidently recommend our brand.
- Execute promotional plans and marketing campaigns in-store to drive brand awareness and product engagement.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory, such as emerging and existing retail stores, vet clinics,
and pet service providers.
- Monitor stock levels and merchandising standards to ensure consistent product availability and presentation.
- Track and report on sales performance, customer feedback, and competitor activity within the territory.
- Support new product launches through training, demonstrations, and promotional activity.
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, logistics, customer service) to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and training sessions where required
Qualifications:
- Experience in sales is highly desirable for this position, including pet, food & beverage, health & beauty, or other fast-moving consumer goods industries (FMCG).
- Ideally we are seeking someone with Territory Management experience however this role may also suit a Sales Analyst/Sales Executive/Graduate with experience in other areas.
- A genuine passion for animals and the pet industry, ideally with an understanding of pet products or animal care.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, team members and shoppers.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and challenges within the territory.
- Enthusiasm to learn and grow in a sales-driven environment with mentoring and support.
- Organisational and time-management skills to manage multiple accounts and appointments effectively.
- Self-motivated and goal-driven, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and CRM software familiarity.
- Reliable transport, a valid driver's license and willingness to travel is vital as the role will involve regular travel within the Greater Melbourne area as well as time-to-time coverage of selected regional centers.

Location and Schedule:
This is a remote role with the majority of time spent in-field managing the Victorian territory including Greater Melbourne as well as visiting key regional centers.
