Painter & Decorator – Multiple Positions | Arch Project Group Mildura VIC

Following the award of a major long-term contract, Arch Project Group (APG) is expanding its trade team. We are seeking qualified and experienced Painter & Decorators, 3rd or 4th year apprentices looking to continue their development or experienced painters to join our growing regional construction business. APG offers ongoing work, a supportive team environment and the chance to be part of a business with a strong pipeline of projects.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Painter & Decorator at APG, you will deliver high-quality painting and decorating works across a range of projects. You’ll take ownership of your work from planning, preparation through to final finish, working closely with supervisors and other trades to keep jobs moving smoothly.

Depending on your experience level, the role may include mentoring apprentices, supporting estimations and planning, or continuing your own trade development in a well-supported environment.

ABOUT YOU

You are a capable, job-ready painter who knows how to deliver a quality finish and work productively on active construction sites. You already have a solid grounding in painting and decorating and can work confidently within a team environment, whether as an experienced tradesperson or advanced apprentice. We’re looking for people who take ownership of their work, turn up ready to go and contribute positively to the team.

You will be one of the following;

- Trade qualified Painter & Decorator with solid on site experience

- A 3rd or 4th year apprentice who can already work independently





- A highly experienced painter (without the trade certificate) with proven ability across preparation, coatings and site work

Ideally, we are seeking someone who;

- Is well organised and self-led

- Has demonstrated ability to prepare surfaces and apply finishes to a professional standard

- Has strong understanding of working safely on construction sites (PPE, ladders, scaffolds, EWPs as required)

- Is reliable, turns up on time and a strong work ethic – you show up and get the job done

- White Card and a current manual driver’s licence

- Has the ability to work well with supervisors, other trades and clients

- Take pride in your work and a mindset focused on quality, not shortcuts

- Willingness to contribute positively to site culture and company values
