About the Role

CIE (Cristaudo's Industrial Electrics) Pty Ltd is looking for a reliable and motivated Trades Assistant/WH&S; support to join our busy workshop team. This is a hands-on, multi-functional role focused on supporting our production flow, assisting in stores and warehouse logistics, and handling the dispatch and pickup of goods.

While this is primarily a Trades Assistant position, candidates with Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) experience or certificates will be highly regarded to help support our existing safety systems and ensure the team adheres to current legislation.

Key Responsibilities

- Workshop Support: Safely operate hand tools and basic machinery (drill press, shears) to assist the production team.

- Logistics & Dispatch: Manage the end-to-end process of receiving, checking, and allocating goods,



as well as the qualified packing and loading of outward freight.

- Pickups & Deliveries: Conduct timely pickups and deliveries using company vehicles, acting as a professional brand ambassador.

- Inventory Management: Update the "Manager" data file accurately to reflect stock movements and future work requirements.

- Safety Support: Assist management in monitoring workshop safety, ensuring PPE compliance, and identifying potential hazards.

Skills and Experience:

- Licence: A current Forklift (LF) licence is essential.

- Experience: Proven background as a Trades Assistant or in a similar workshop/logistics environment.

- Skills: Proficiency with hand tools and computer literacy for inventory data entry.

- Driver’s Licence: A current valid Australian Driver’s License.

- WHS Knowledge: Previous experience or a certificate in WHS is a major plus.

- Attitude: Punctual, reliable, and committed to high safety standards.
