We are seeking fabulous, passionate and caring Assistant in Nurses (Carers) who are medication administration competent to come and join our team at Superior Care Group's aged care home in Wellington Point, Queensland. This is a part-time or casual role, offering the opportunity to work in a supportive and nurturing workplace, providing high-quality care to our residents.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting with the administration of medication to residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Providing personal care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities
- Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of resident care
- Collaborating with the team to ensure the delivery of exceptional care
- Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
What we're looking for
- A current Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrated experience as an AIN, preferably in an aged care setting
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience working as an Assistant in Nursing
- Medication competency and the ability to administer medications under supervision
- Completion of an RTO medication course for medication competency certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and their families
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to care
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of care and adhering to all relevant regulations and procedures
- Current police check and NDIS worker screening clearances
