An exceptional leadership opportunity for a seasoned private equity investor to shape APAC strategy at a global mid-market platform.

Madison Hunt is exclusively partnered with a leading global mid-market private equity firm to identify a Managing Director for its Asia-Pacific investment team, based in Sydney.

With a sharp focus on industrials and value-add infrastructure, this firm has built a compelling track record across its global portfolio and is now accelerating its APAC presence with a senior hire who can lead from the front.

The Opportunity

This is an MD-level role with real ownership. You will lead origination and execution of mid-market transactions across the Asia-Pacific region, hold board seats across a number of current portfolio companies, and work closely with global leadership to drive both investment and asset management activity.

For the right person, this is a platform-defining role, with the autonomy, deal flow, and regional mandate to build something significant.

What We're Looking For

- 15+ years across private equity and/or investment banking, with meaningful APAC exposure
- Deep expertise in industrials,



value-add infrastructure, or adjacent real asset sectors
- Proven deal leadership, from origination and structuring through to exit
- Board-level experience and the commercial gravitas to represent the firm at the highest level
- Strong regional networks across Australia, Japan, Southeast Asia, and/or broader APAC
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the presence to lead and grow a regional team
