About The Role

As a Shift Operator, you’ll be part of the team that keeps essential fuel products moving safely and reliably across our Brisbane Fuel Terminals. You’ll play a key role in overseeing product imports from ships and managing flows through our pipeline network. This is a hands‑on, high‑responsibility role where no two days look the same. You’ll be the eyes and ears of the terminal, working with a tight‑knit team to keep operations safe, efficient, and running smoothly.

- Keep the terminal running safely — you’re the first line of defence in spotting hazards, preventing incidents, and maintaining a strong safety culture.
- Operate and monitor equipment to ensure product is received, stored, and moved correctly
- Work with contractors and suppliers to make sure everyone on site follows the rules and works safely.
- Respond to issues in real time — troubleshooting, escalating, and making decisions that keep operations on track.




- Contribute to a strong team environment where communication and teamwork are everything.
- Switch between day and night shifts as part of a rotating roster that keeps the terminal running 24/7.

About You

You’re someone who takes pride in doing important work well and thrives in environments where safety and teamwork come first. You stay calm under pressure, think on your feet, and enjoy being hands on across a variety of tasks. You communicate clearly, work well with others, and aren’t afraid to speak up when something doesn’t look right. Experience in high‑risk, high‑compliance or industrial environments is a strong advantage, but not essential — we provide full training and support to help you build the technical skills you need. Whether you come from a trade, operations, or another practical background, you’re adaptable, reliable, and motivated to learn. Most importantly, you’re the kind of person who enjoys solving problems, taking responsibility, and being part of a team that keeps critical operations running smoothly.
