About the Role:

We are in need of an experienced EHS Advisor to work onsite at the Boulder Creek wind farm located in Westwood QLD.

We will consider applicants for FIFO/DIDO or a local from anywhere in Australia as this will be on a 3:1 roster.

Flights & local housing accommodation included, site vehicle provided plus $75 daily per diem.

Contract length is 12 months initially with potential to extend for the project duration

Indicative Responsibilities

- To make a high profile personal commitment to safety for the duration of the site execution

- Ensure that all personnel are only assigned to work tasks they are trained/competent and physically able to complete safely

- Ensure all personnel are fit for the duty they are assigned, consider illness and medical conditions

- Organise site access and workplaces so that work is carried out to the required standards with minimum risk to employees, equipment and the environment





- Know and implement the requirements of all-relevant GE safe work procedures and report to the SEHSM any difficulties faced in applying such

- Ensure any HRO is performed under a suitable and sufficient risk assessment, described in a method statement when required and authorized through a PTW as applicable

- Give all trades exact instructions and information on risks they are exposed to and their associated control measures, including safe work methods, using suitable communication means such as pre-task briefings, tool-box talks or dedicated meetings.

- Ensure that all personnel under their control know what to do in the event of an emergency

- Take any necessary immediate containment actions following an EHS event and report it

About you

- Minimum of Diploma of OH&S;

- Proven experience working on large construction projects in remote locations

- White Card

- Valid driver's license

- Previous GEV / WTG service experience desirable.

- Excellent communication skills and safety mindset

- Willingness to travel and work on-site and at port

- Intermediate MS Office skills
