We are seeking a vibrant and enthusiastic Receptionist & Admin Assistant for our office in Mascot. As a key member of our team, you’ll be the friendly face meeting and greeting all clients and members of our community.
About the role
- Welcoming clients and visitors
- Manage a busy reception area, lots of client interaction
- Answering phones calls, responding to enquiries, and directing calls appropriately
- Maintaining accurate records and administrative systems
- Providing information and referrals to community members
- Assisting with the Peoples Pantry food relief service when required
- Performing data entry, filing and general administrative duties
- Coordinating meeting room bookings
- Processing payments using the EFTPOS system
What SECC is looking for
- 2 – 3 years’ experience in a reception / admin role
- Experience working in a Not for Profit organisation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills and qualified phone manner
- Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- A reliable, proactive, and self-motivated approach
- The ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff, and external stakeholders from diverse backgrounds
- Do you have a First Aid Certificate (or willingness to get one)
