Position

Due to continued growth, an opportunity has become available for an experienced Fire Technician / Commercial Electrician to join the Brisbane team.

This is a hands-on role working across installation, servicing, commissioning, maintenance, and fault finding of commercial fire detection systems. You will work across a variety of commercial sites while being supported by an experienced and highly skilled team.

Responsibilities will include:

* Installing, testing, commissioning, and maintaining fire detection systems.
* Programming and fault finding on fire panels including Ampac, Pertronic, and Notifier.
* Reading and interpreting electrical plans and technical drawings.
* Ensuring works are completed in line with AS 1670 and AS 1851 standards.
* Completing service reports, testing documentation, and compliance paperwork.
* Working across healthcare, education, aged care, commercial fit-outs, and apartment projects.
* Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety,



and client communication.
* Collaborating with project managers and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Fire Technician or Commercial Electrician with experience working on commercial fire detection systems.

Strong technical ability, fault-finding skills, and the ability to work autonomously are essential for success in this role.

The key attributes of an ideal candidate would include:

* QLD Electrical Licence or QBCC Fire Occupational Licence.
* Experience with commercial fire detection systems.
* Experience programming and fault finding on Ampac, Pertronic, or Notifier panels.
* Strong understanding of Australian Standards including AS 1670 and AS 1851.
* Ability to read plans, schematics, and technical documentation.
* Strong communication and time management skills.
* Current Manual Driver's Licence, White Card, and EWP.
