About You
We are looking for someone who brings both experience and the right approach. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Proven experience supporting non-verbal participants
- Robust experience managing challenging behaviours in a safe and proactive manner
- A naturally engaging, playful approach and the ability to connect through participant-led activities
- A transparent understanding of skill-building and goal-focused support
- Consistency, reliability, and emotional maturity
- The ability to follow structure while adapting in the moment
- Confidence working independently with a high level of accountability
This is not a suitable role for entry-level applicants.
Essential Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- First Aid & CPR
- Valid driver’s licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
Preferred:
- Relevant qualifications (or working towards) in Disability, Community Services, or a related field
What Sets This Role Apart
- Consistent, ongoing shifts with additional hours available
- A structured, well-supported environment with clear expectations
- The opportunity to make a meaningful, long-term impact
- A team that values professionalism, consistency, and quality of care
