Control Systems Engineers | Perth | Mining Projects

SGC Australia Pty Ltd is currently seeking experienced Control Systems Engineers to support a growing pipeline of mining projects across WA.

Full time casual and fixed-term contract opportunities are available, with competitive rates and long-term project opportunities.

These positions offer a genuine mix of office-based engineering and hands-on site execution, giving engineers exposure across the full project lifecycle from concept and development through to commissioning, optimisation, troubleshooting, and operational support.

You will be involved in:
• PLC and SCADA/HMI development across mining and industrial assets
• Control system design, configuration, FAT, SAT, and testing
• Site commissioning, fault finding, and breakdown support
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA)



and plant reliability improvements
• Supporting operations teams to improve asset availability and performance
• Working closely with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal engineering teams

This role is ideally suited to engineers who enjoy both technical engineering and site-based delivery, not just sitting behind a desk.

• Mining, resources, or heavy industrial environments
• Commissioning and site execution
