Pearce & Heers Insolvency & Advisory are seeking an enthusiastic employee to work in their Brisbane Office. The successful candidate will help administer corporate and personal insolvency matters as well as assist with advisory and restructuring engagements.
Our Firm
Pearce & Heers is a specialist insolvency firm which assists clients with financial problems and administers formal insolvency appointments such as liquidations and bankruptcies.
The firm has offices in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast.
Candidate
The successful candidate will require:
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Creative/analytical thinking
· Attention to detail
· Ability to grasp strategies and legal concepts
· The ability to learn and use the firm's software and systems
A degree in Accounting may be beneficial to this role however it is NOT required.
The Role
Successful candidate will assist with all aspects of personal and corporate insolvency appointments including:
· Liaising with stakeholders including creditors, directors and debtors
· Preparing reports and other communications
· Carrying out investigations and assisting the pursuit of recovery claims
· Selling and realising assets
· Preparing lodgments and reports with ASIC and AFSA
