The Moranbah Health Service is situated in the Isaac Regional Shire, within the town of Moranbah, roughly 200 km southwest of Mackay, about a 2½‑hour drive. The service encompasses the Moranbah Hospital, Community and Allied Health, Mental Health and AODS services, as well as the Glenden Primary Health Care Centre. Moranbah Hospital features a 12‑bed acute inpatient facility and offers 24/7 emergency services, specialist outpatient care, medical imaging (x‑ray and ultrasound), various Telehealth services, and ambulatory care across its facilities.

Position Details

Moranbah Hospital requires an experienced dual sonographer / radiographer for one locum stint. You will work Monday to Friday with on‑call requirements 24/7. You will be experienced in general x‑ray, trauma, mobile imaging and general ultrasound (General, Obs/Gyn, Limited MSK, Breasts, Small parts, Vascular, Paeds).





Contract Dates

- 01 Oct 2024 – 28 Oct 2024

Duties

- Complete a range of ultrasound and radiography scans in line with procedures, protocols and policies.
- Agree to undertake integrated medical record training, online induction training and any other training requested by the hospital.
- Participate in on‑call.

Requirements

- Previous experience working in Australia, or with QLD Health and/or Mackay HHS.
- ASAR registration.
- Full AHPRA registration.
- QLD Radiation Use Licence.
- Qld Health credentialling will be required and support will be provided.
