RDA DDSW is seeking a proactive and well-connectedProject Manager to lead the Toowoomba Regional Jobs Committee (TRJC).
Funded through the Queensland Government’s Regional Jobs Committee (RJC) Program, this role drives place-based workforce solutions that strengthen employment outcomes across Toowoomba and the broader Darling Downs region (including Southern Downs, Western Downs and Goondiwindi).
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll turn ideas into action and build real momentum across industry, education and government.
What You’ll Do
- Lead delivery of the TRJC project and Regional Action Plan
- Plan and deliver workforce events that generate employment outcomes
- Identify workforce trends, skills gaps and local employment challenges
- Build solid partnerships across business, training, education and government
- Facilitate effective committee meetings, forums and industry roundtables
- Connect local stakeholders to Queensland Government workforce programs and funding
- Manage reporting, compliance and project milestones
About You
You’re a relationship-builder who gets things done. You think strategically but aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves.
You Bring:
- Proven project management experience
- Experience delivering events, forums or stakeholder roundtables
- Established networks or demonstrated success building productive relationships across industry, education,
community and government sectors in Toowoomba and the Darling Downs
- Strong understanding of the Toowoomba and wider Darling Downs workforce and economic landscape - or the ability to quickly develop this knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation
- Initiative, sound judgement and an outcomes-driven mindset
- Dedication to maintaining a healthy and safe workplace environment
- Current Driver’s License and ability to travel within the region
- Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
