** About the Position**:
Provides leadership and support for active recreation and organised sport in Monash by improving services, facilities and opportunities for higher quality and more participation.

Works in collaboration with all stakeholders to ensure the appropriate planning and delivery of recreation services and projects in Monash.

** Skills and Experience**:

- Highly effective verbal communication and written communication to clearly articulate Council’s position and influence outcomes
- Problem solving with others including internal and external stakeholders
- Be able to lead and motivate others
- Demonstrated experience managing recreation programs, facilities or services
- Contract and or facility management experience




- Experience working with clubs and state sporting associations etc.
- Project management experience relating to sport or active recreation infrastructure

**Requirements**:

- Employee Working with Children’s Check
- Satisfactory National Police Check
- Other pre-employment checks may be required depending on the role requirements
