About The Role

n

Collaborating with the GH Horsham Senior Pharmacy Leadership group, this senior pharmacist position will provide leadership and operational oversight to the Pharmacy Team at the GH Horsham campus. Professional development is supported through regular in-service education including journal club meetings and support for seminar/conference attendance is available.

n

In addition, professional support is provided through team-based structures as well as formal education programs including the Grampians Health Leadership Program. Manage and supervise Grade 1 and 2 pharmacists and intern pharmacists Portfolio leadership on a rotational basis, in various areas such as Dispensary operations, Cancer Pharmacy Services & Clinical Pharmacy Services Act as the Horsham Pharmacy Site Lead on a rotational basis

Key Responsibilities

n

Actively participate in the delivery of pharmacy services across clinical pharmacy services, operations and other areas as delegated by the Pharmacy Senior Leadership Team.Ensure Pharmacy Services staff working at the Horsham site are aware of KPIs, service updates and other relevant matters to effectively function within their allocated roleProvide effective staff training and supervision, provide effective feedback and ensure workforce culture aligns with GH valuesWork with the Deputy Directors of Pharmacy and GH Leadership to proactively problem solve, negotiate,



manage conflict and facilitate open discussions with colleagues.

Skills & Experience

n

Bachelor of Pharmacy degree and current pharmacist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Membership or eligible for membership of an appropriate professional body – Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia or Pharmaceutical Society of AustraliaHigher qualification in clinical pharmacy desired or ability to demonstrate practice aligning with Grade 3 criteria as set out in the Medical Scientists, Pharmacists and Psychologists Victorian Public Sector Enterprise Agreement Drivers Licence To see a full copy of the Position Description please click here
