As our Social Media Manager, you’re the creative heart behind how our clients (and Oh My Digital) show up online. You take ideas and strategy and turn them into content people actually want to watch, read, and connect with - across organic channels.
You’re trusted to manage your own workload, bring creative ideas to the table, and collaborate closely with the team to make sure everything feels aligned, on-brand, and considered.

The Role
As our Part-Time Social Media Manager, you’ll take ownership of organic social media management for a selection of clients.
This means you are the one ensuring their presence is:
- Strategically aligned
- Consistent
- On-brand
You’ll work closely with our Account Manager, Digital Performance Manager, our other Social Media Manager (focused more on the Content Creation side of things), and Hayley & Katy, our Founders!
There may be opportunities to attend content shoots, collaborating with the team to ensure what we capture translates seamlessly into both organic and paid ecosystems.
You will own the social media lane for your clients. And we’ll trust you to run it beautifully.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Contributing to Digital Marketing Playbooks by providing social media insights during strategy development
- Implementing organic strategy as laid out by our Senior Strategist,
then refining and guiding that strategy over time based on performance data and platform shifts
- Developing and evolving monthly organic social media strategies aligned with client goals, funnel stage, and the broader Digital Marketing Playbook
- Owning social media content for your client accounts, from planning through to posting
- Managing and growing Oh My Digital’s own social media presence
- Creating structured content calendars that balance education, authority, trust and conversion
- Identifying platform opportunities based on algorithm shifts and behavioural trends
- Ensuring content supports measurable goals like engagement rate, profile actions and enquiry volume (as part of our clients' multichannel marketing strategies)
- Occasionally heading out to client shoots to capture photo and video content
Content Creation & Execution
- Writing high-performing captions with strong hooks and explicit CTAs
- Designing content in Canva that aligns with each client’s brand identity
- Editing short-form video content in CapCut
- Creating Reels, TikToks, carousels, and static content that feels natural, strategic, and scroll-stopping
- Scheduling content via Plann
- Using ClickUp to plan content, organise workflows, coordinate approvals, and ensure our content goes out seamlessly
- Monitoring insights and identifying patterns
- Flagging opportunities to improve reach, engagement and lead quality
- Contributing to reporting with clear, strategic commentary
- Working closely with the team to align organic and paid creative
- Coordinating with our Account Manager to ensure client communication is proactive and explicit
- Participating in monthly team days in Brisbane
- Coming along to client meetings to brainstorm, strategise and build relationships

What We Need From You
- A tertiary qualification in Marketing (or similar) or equivalent real‑world experience
- 2+ years experience in social media management (agency experience highly regarded)
- Full working rights in Australia
- Strong copywriting ability across multiple brand voices
- High‑level experience with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Canva
- Confident editing in CapCut (or similar)
- Experience using a project management tool (ClickUp or similar)
- Clear understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok best practices
- Confidence analysing insights and translating them into improvements
- Based in Brisbane (or able to attend monthly team days)
Bonus points
if you’ve worked with service‑based or lead generation clients.
