Case Manager – Women’s Supported Accommodation
Classification: SCHADS Crisis Level 2 / Social Level 4
Location: Spring Hill, Brisbane
Employment Type: Casual – must be able to cover shifts for staff on leave and backfill shifts when required
About The Role
Join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of women experiencing homelessness. As a Case Manager, you’ll provide person‑centred, trauma‑informed support within our Temporary Supported Accommodation service, working across both residential and community settings.
You’ll collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to help women build safety, stability and independence, while delivering services that align with national and state strategies and The Salvation Army’s Model of Care.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Build genuine, trusting relationships that empower women to make their own choices and stay actively involved in their journey
- Provide flexible, person‑centred case management tailored to each woman’s needs
- Complete thorough assessments to understand risks, strengths and support needs
- Continue reassessing needs and progress from intake through to exit
- Work alongside women to develop practical, personalised case plans with clear goals and pathways
- Put case plans into action with the woman’s full involvement
- Connect women with the right services, supports and community networks
- Advocate when needed to ensure access to appropriate supports
What You Will Bring
- A qualification in Social Work, Welfare, Community Development or a related field, or solid sector experience supported by relevant professional development
- Experience in social services, particularly in assessment and case management
- Experience in the Homelessness Sector and an interest in supporting women
- Ability to work shiftwork, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Current QLD Working with Children Check (role includes supporting young people and families)
- Current Driver’s Licence
- First Aid Certificate (if required on roster)
