Job Description
- Processing weekly payroll for employees.
- Managing superannuation and tax deductions.
- Handling payroll queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintaining accurate payroll records and employee data.
- Preparing and distributing payslips, tax forms, and other payroll-related documents.
- Performing year-end processing tasks.
- Adhering to privacy standards and confidentiality principles.
- Staying current with changes in payroll legislation.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Officer should have:
- A solid understanding of payroll processes.
- Experience in a similar role within the transport & distribution industry is advantageous.
- A strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent numerical skills and proficiency with payroll software.
- Good communication skills for handling payroll queries.
