About the Role
BYD Springwood are seeking a motivated and guest‑focused Finance and Insurance Consultant to join our growing sales team.
While previous Finance and Insurance experience is preferred, we are open to training the right candidate who is enthusiastic, detail‑oriented, and keen to build a long‑term career in automotive finance within a modern EV dealership environment.
Representing one of the world's fastest‑growing electric vehicle brands, you will play a key role in supporting the purchase journey by delivering tailored finance, insurance, and warranty solutions, while ensuring a compliant and professional experience for every guest.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Present finance, insurance, and warranty products clearly and professionally to guests
- Prepare and submit finance applications to a panel of lenders
- Ensure finance documentation is accurate and compliant with ASIC and lender requirements
- Manage settlements, payouts, and remittances
- Maintain accurate records and reporting in line with dealership standards
- Work collaboratively with Sales and Management teams to achieve performance targets
Skills & Experience
- Previous Finance and Insurance, sales, finance administration, or automotive experience preferred but not essential
- Strong interest in finance, compliance, and customer solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
- Confident using computer systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work effectively in a target‑driven environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain required financier licensing credentials
- Ability to provide clear police and bankruptcy checks (supported for the right candidate)
- Current driver's licence
