Are you an organised and proactive professional looking to advance your career in healthcare management? WiseMind Medical is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to support the smooth running of our busy GP and Allied Health medical centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day management of practice operations across GP and Allied Health services
- Recruitment of GP's and Allied Health Clinicians
- Supervise front desk, reception, and administration staff
- Support HR functions, including rostering, onboarding, and staff training
- Ensure compliance with policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements
- Manage stock, facilities, and supplier relationships
- Oversee billing, Medicare, and patient accounts
- Identify opportunities for workflow improvement and patient experience enhancement
- Act as a key point of contact for practitioners and patients when needed.
About You
You're an enthusiastic team player with strong communication skills and a passion for healthcare operations. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a hands-on
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a General Practice or Allied Health administrative or management role
- Solid understanding of Medicare, MBS billing, and practice operations
- Proficiency with practice management software (e.g. Best Practice, Cliniko, or similar)
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership qualities.
