Registered Nurse - Hopewell Hospice (Arundel)

Your Role as a Registered Nurse

Hopewell Hospice provides compassionate, homestyle palliative care for people with life‑limiting illnesses across the Gold Coast. With eight peaceful rooms, 24‑hour nursing and tailored support services, the hospice offers comfort, dignity and meaningful support for both patients and their families during end‑of‑life care.

You’ll deliver this role by:

- Applying advanced clinical decision‑making and demonstrating confidence in your skills and competencies

- Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individualised care plans that support children and families through diverse and complex needs

- Supporting the induction and supervision of personal care workers, students and volunteers, helping them thrive in their roles

- Participating in clinical audits and evaluating service effectiveness to support continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

- Current AHPRA nursing registration





- Knowledge and application of person‑centred and family‑focused nursing

- Minimum three years post‑registration experience

- Experience in palliative are highly regarded

- Applied knowledge of person centred and family focused nursing

Essential Requirements

- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy)

- Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.

- Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel for work
