The Opportunity

Bishops Transport is a family-owned transport company seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Administrator to support the Kununurra Depot Manager on a full-time basis. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our administrative processes. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate records, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting various administrative tasks.

Tasks & Responsibilities

- Oversee office operations, including managing emails, handling customer queries, answering phone calls, and ensuring customers receive their freight with the correct paperwork.

- Provide outstanding customer service by responding to enquiries, assisting customers, and resolving issues professionally and efficiently.

- Accurately enter Consignment Note information.

- Create Manifests and Supplier Payment Authorities (SPA's).

- Prepare drivers' paperwork and conduct quality checks on returned documentation.

- Work closely with the Depot Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.

- Perform general administrative ad-hoc duties as required.





- Maintain the office to a high qualified and functional standard.

Skills & Experience

- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accurate data entry.

- Experience in the transport and logistics industry is advantageous but not essential.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer literacy.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain an efficient workflow.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Problem-solving abilities within a fast-paced environment.

- Capability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
