Project Delivery Lead (Gladstone Central)

We are partnering with a leading global industrial manufacturer to source an experienced Project Delivery Lead to deliver a portfolio of capital projects within an operational processing facility in Gladstone.

You will manage projects end-to-end, from concept development and capital approval through to construction, commissioning, and operational handover, ensuring full compliance with governance, hazard study, Management of Change, and SHES requirements.

This is a site-based role, five days per week, with additional hours as required during key execution phases.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end delivery of capital projects, from concept through to commissioning and handover
- Define project scope, objectives, and battery limits in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Prepare capital expenditure proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and risk registers to support funding approval
- Develop and manage integrated project schedules and monthly cost forecasts
- Prepare engineering and construction scopes of work and lead tendering, evaluation, and contract award processes
- Support safe and effective construction execution, ensuring alignment with scope, quality, and SHES requirements
- Oversee commissioning planning and coordinate seamless operational handover
- Partner with operations to ensure asset readiness, including maintenance strategies, master data, spare parts, and procedures




- Maintain clear reporting and ensure full compliance with governance, hazard study, and Management of Change processes

About You

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5+ years’ project management experience in heavy industry
- Accredited PM qualification (PMP or Cert IV Project Management – preferred)
- Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement capability
- Proven ability to deliver capital projects within operational environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
