About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Report Submissions Officer to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth and accurate preparation, submission and management of reports and supporting documentation for our clients.
Position Overview:
Reviewing, verifying, and submitting reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organisational standards and client requirements. This role plays a critical part in maintaining data integrity, improving reporting processes, and supporting operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and validate reports for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company and client standards.
- Ensure all required documentation and supporting evidence are attached and correct.
- Perform quality checks on data entries, formatting, and calculations within reports.
- Submit reports within the designated deadlines and track submission status.
- Identify errors, inconsistencies, or gaps in reports and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve them.
- Maintain an organised record of submitted reports for auditing and reference purposes.
- Provide feedback to teams on common errors or areas for improvement in report preparation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting updates to reporting templates and quality check processes.
- Assist with ad hoc reporting and data analysis as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word) and reporting software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience in report management, data entry, or quality assurance is preferred.
- Understanding of industry-specific standards (e.g., Building & construction, Insurance, Restoration).
- Comprehensive knowledge of Building & construction, Insurance, and Restoration industry standards is essential.
- Experience with workflow or document management systems.
- Team player with a proactive and organised work approach.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in report management, data entry, or quality assurance is required.
- Applicants must hold valid work rights in Australia.
