This is a role for someone who can simplify hard things and make them executable. You’ll drive rationalisation decisions and turn them into clean customer moves — balancing customer outcomes, operational readiness and risk.

Make change feel human. You’ll design journeys and comms that reduce confusion, calls and complaints — and you’ll shape cohorting logic so migrations land safely for our customers and colleagues! Reduce product complexity while protecting NAB customer outcomes! Drive channel readiness and rapid-fix loops to reduce calls/complaints in our Customer Migration Team!

In the role of Product Owner — Migration you will join our Customer Migration team that’s doubling down on customer obsession, whist keeping it simple.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

Review product catalogue, identify rationalisation options and define target products Define eligibility, sequencing and exclusions for cohorts and cutover windows Drive comms planning and approvals with Legal/Compliance and CX Participate in post-event validation and feed lessons back into playbooks Lead equivalence analysis and drive approvals with Legal/Compliance Produce mapping specifications and close edge cases with product/tech/BA Align equivalence outcomes to cohort rules and cutover windows Join post-event validation and defect resolution; feed learnings into rules Design CX journey and communications plan; drive approvals and accessibility Define cohort rules and sequencing aligned to readiness and cutover windows Coordinate channel readiness and colleague enablement Monitor outcomes, run rapid fixes, and loop lessons into patterns

Solid product judgement and pragmatic simplification mindset Comfort with governance, approvals and stakeholder management Ability to balance customer treatment, risk and delivery constraints Skill translating product decisions into clear artefacts teams can execute Strong regulatory and product literacy; comfort in approval-heavy environments Crisp documentation and decisioning on edge cases Ability to partner effectively with Legal/Compliance/Tech under time pressure Evidence-led mindset: knows what must be true before we proceed Strong CX + communications craft (in regulated environments preferred) Comfort building cohorting logic with operational constraints Ability to work across Product, Ops, Legal/Compliance and Tech Outcome-driven focus: knows how to move complaints/calls down and confidence up
