Warehouse Assistant/ Experienced Store man (Seven Hills)

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Assistant/Store man to assist our warehouse operations.

To be successful as a warehouse assistant you should be experienced in optimising warehousing processes and be an effective team player.

An outstanding warehouse assistant should be dependable and have excellent organisational and time management skills.

Experience with both high reach and counterbalance forklifts is a must.

Key responsibilities:

- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (pick, pack, wrap, label, load, ship)

- Receive and process warehouse stock products (unload, check, label, inventory, store)

- Keep a clean and safe working environment

- Communicate and cooperate with Warehouse Manager.

- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment

- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations





- To carry out all activities in a manner that promotes safety to yourself and your colleagues

- Ensure all business and individual key performance indicators are met

- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Competencies and experience required:

- Excellent computer skills

- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods

- Quick learner, great eye for detail

- Excellent leadership and organisational skills and time management

- Excellent communication - in person, email, phone

- Be able to motivate staff and provide a positive attitude

- Forklift experience (both counterbalance and high reach)

- Minimum experience 2 years warehousing experience

- Able to work independently

- Understand and demonstrate the importance of WHS
