Marston Living creates boutique retirement communities designed around connection, lifestyle and beautifully considered spaces.
We are seeking a mature, polished and personable professional to join our team in a part-time role supporting both front-of-house concierge services and lifestyle coordination.
The Role
This is a hands-on, people-focused role combining:
- Concierge & reception support (front of house)
- Financial administration
- Lifestyle activities coordination
You will help create a welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors, and help deliver simple, enjoyable programs that encourage residents to connect and feel at home.
Key Responsibilities
Concierge & Reception & Admin works (1–2 days per week onsite)
- Provide a warm and professional first point of contact for residents, families and visitors
- Manage the reception desk and keep common areas tidy, stocked and well presented
- Help with day-to-day admin such as basic bookings, notices, calendars and resident communications
- Financial Administration: Monitor, Code, and Approve Invoices. Assist with retirement village quarterly reporting.
- Liaise with Operator and Construction team regarding defects and capital replacement
Lifestyle & Community Coordination
- Design and deliver a structured monthly activity calendar including coordination with external providers and supporting special events
- Engage directly with residents to understand interests and preferences to encourage participation
- Support resident-led initiatives and community groups
About You
- Naturally connects with older Australians (70+)
- Warm, calm and confident communication style
- Organised, reliable and proactive
- Has strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Enjoys building relationships within a community environment
- Comfortable with email and basic admin (Microsoft Office; Canva is a plus)
Experience in one or more of the following is desirable:
- Retirement village lifestyle roles
- Community engagement
- Event coordination
- Boutique hospitality / concierge
- Teaching, wellness or social programming
- Administration within service-based environments
Confidence using email, Microsoft Office and basic design tools (e.g. Canva) is preferred.
