Senior Medical Receptionist (Coogee)

Coogee Beach Doctors is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Medical Receptionist/Office Manager to join our friendly team in Coogee, NSW. This part-time role will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our patients and medical staff.

The position offers 20-25 hours per week with structured part-time scheduling.

Key responsibilities

- Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice in a warm and professional manner

- Scheduling and managing patient appointments efficiently

- Handling patient enquiries and booking requests via phone, email and in person

- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and files

- Assisting with medical billing, including processing payments and issuing receipts

- Providing general administrative support to the clinical team as required

- Ensuring the practice maintains a clean, tidy and organised front-of-house environment

- Supporting the Practice Manager

What we're looking for

- We are looking for individuals that are able to work 2-3 days on a long term basis and who has flexibility to help out on other days to cover when needed.

- Minimum 3 years' experience as a medical receptionist or administrator in a healthcare setting

- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients,



colleagues and clinicians

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate patient records and schedules

- Proficient in using medical practice management software and standard office applications

- Experience with Best Practice medical practice management software is required

- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment

- Understanding of medical terminology and healthcare industry practices

- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care
