About the role

Seventy Eight On Rundle is seeking a talented and dedicated Duty Manager / Barista to join our dynamic hospitality team in Kent Town, South Australia. As a Duty Manager / Barista, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our establishment, while also showcasing your exceptional barista skills. This is a casual position with the potential to move to full-time , offering flexibility and the opportunity to be part of an exciting hospitality environment.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing and serving a range of specialty coffee beverages, teas, and other refreshments to our customers.

2. Maintaining a clean and well-organised work workplace, adhering to all health and safety regulations

3. Assisting with inventory management, ordering, and stock control

4. Providing support and guidance to junior staff as needed.

5. Collaborating with the management team to implement new initiatives and improve overall business operations

What we're looking for

1. Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

2. Proficient in the preparation and presentation of high-quality coffee and other beverages

3. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills,



with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

5. Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends

6. A keen interest in the hospitality industry and a passion for providing exceptional customer experiences

7. Experience in a similar duty manager or barista role within the hospitality industry

8. Current RSA & RP badge not essential but highly regarded.
