Due to continued growth and the award of new contracts, we are seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join our Mackay workshop on an even time 7:7 dayshift-only roster. These are residential roles and are ideally suited to candidates living locally within the Mackay region.

The Role:





- Carrying out detailed inspections, servicing, and repairs on diesel engines and associated components

- Completing full machinery rebuilds from the ground up, primarily on CAT and Komatsu equipment

- Diagnosing faults and implementing effective repair solutions to ensure performance and safety

- Working collaboratively with the team to deliver work efficiently and to a high standard

- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace while adhering to all safety procedures and regulations

Key Requirements:

- Trade qualification in Diesel Fitting or equivalent

- Robust experience across a range of CAT and Komatsu machinery

- Previous experience with bare chassis rebuilds and HME maintenance

- Sound diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

- High attention to detail with a proactive problem-solving approach
