We’re looking for a motivated Junior Trainee Service Advisor to join our Sunshine Coast team. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys people, problem-solving, and learning how a busy truck service department runs. You’ll be trained to coordinate service bookings, support technicians and customers, and help keep vehicles on the road.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome customers and help book in vehicles for servicing and repairs
- Learn how to create job cards, estimates, and service schedules
- Communicate updates to customers clearly and professionally
- Liaise with technicians to understand repair progress and parts requirements
- Assist with warranty/admin processes and basic invoicing support
- Maintain accurate records and follow workshop procedures
- Help keep the service reception area organised and customer-ready
What we’re looking for
- A great attitude and willingness to learn (training provided)
- Confident communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Comfortable using computers (email, job systems, invoicing basics)
- Ability to stay calm in a fast-paced setting
- Current driver’s licence preferred
- An interest in trucks, mechanics, or the automotive industry is a plus (not essential)
