The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our Canberra studio.

This is a senior role within our interiors team. You will shape the design direction of commercial interior projects and carry them through from briefing and concept to documentation and construction.

You will be confident in translating design intent into explicit, buildable documentation and comfortable working directly with clients and consultants.

Advanced Revit capability is essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead interior design projects from concept through to construction delivery

- Develop strong, well-resolved spatial and material design outcomes

- Produce and oversee high-quality documentation in Revit





- Coordinate consultants and work closely with architectural project teams

- Maintain direct client engagement and represent DJAS in meetings

- Manage project programs, resources, and fee budgets

- Mentor and support junior designers.

About You

You will bring:

- A recognised qualification in Interior Design

- Minimum 7+ years’ post-graduate experience, including commercial interiors

- Demonstrated experience leading and delivering multiple projects

- Advanced proficiency in Revit (essential)

- Strong construction documentation capability

- Sound knowledge of Australian Standards and NCC

- Clear communication skills and professional confidence.
