Scope Safety Systems are a supplier and installer of temporary guardrail systems to the commercial building industry throughout Melbourne, VIC. This role is part of our guardrail division and works closely with our amazing internal and external stakeholders to ensure we’re an efficient and valuable part of their build.

Scope Safety Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Factory Hand to join our team.

Working within our Guardrail division, this hands-on role is essential to supporting day-to-day factory operations. You will be part of a hardworking, close-knit and supportive team environment where safety, quality and teamwork are key to success.

This position suits someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is looking to build a secure career within a growing business.

Duties of the role include (but certainly are not limited to):

• Assisting with accurate stock control and stock movements
• Counting and allocating components into stillages with required paperwork completed
• Inspecting returned guardrail components and identifying maintenance requirements
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently




• Assisting with deliveries to job sites when required
• Supporting daily factory operations to ensure production runs smoothly
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workplace in line with WH&S; requirements
• Reporting any product defects, discrepancies or material issues to supervisors

• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing
