Position: Dog Groomer

Join a fresh, growing community grooming studio. Our Manager is a qualified Vet Nurse and Dog Groomer, giving you expert guidance, and a workplace where high standards and great vibes go hand in hand.

We are now looking for a passionate, experienced Dog Groomer with 2+ years experience who loves working with dogs and takes pride in delivering high-quality grooms.

Remuneration: $30 – $40 per hour dependent on skills and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Ensuring all pets are safe, secure and comfortable throughout the grooming process

- Grooming and styling dogs according to breed standards or client preferences

- Consulting with pet owners to achieve desired outcomes and managing expectations professionally

- Completing full grooms including dematting/detangling, bathing, blow drying, clipping, scissor finishing, nail trimming, ear cleaning and anal gland expression

- Confidently handling puppies, anxious dogs and larger breeds with patience and care

- Maintaining a clean, hygienic and organised workstation





- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through clear communication and daily feedback

- Managing bookings, client records and enquiries via phone and email

Key Requirements

- Minimum 2 years professional dog grooming experience

- Ability to complete breed-specific clips confidently and efficiently without supervision

- Strong scissor finishing skills and high attention to detail

- Experience handling larger breeds and different dog temperaments

- Reliable, punctual and empathetic nature
