We are the local subsidiary of a global group and focus locally on precision tooling and special purpose equipment supplier for automotive, medical and other industries that require high precision.
We are looking for an experienced Financial Account/Controller (part-time, 25-30 hours per week, working from home option after induction period) reporting to the Managing Director.
Location: Parramatta Area
Responsibilities:
- Manage the monthly accounting process, including postings, balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger, fixed assets, accruals, and journal entries & bank reconciliation
- Accounts payable and receivable management
- Preparation monthly local overseas payments with bank (online)
- Preparation of payroll and payroll related disbursements – monthly and for year end
- Preparation of end of month accounts (5 working days from month end), quarterly group reporting and annual accounts in global group format
- Cash Flow Management
- Support preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and plans
- Preparation and lodgement of compliance documentation relating to GST, FBT, Group Tax, Payroll and associated returns.
- Support annual audit, tax return and transfer pricing with group global auditors (Top Tier audit firm)
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Certification: CPA or CA qualification (or working towards it) is preferred
- Experience: Experience in a similar financial accounting role for several years
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Preferable further Skills & Qualifications:
- Preparation of annual tax returns
- Experience with Sage 300, Summit AssetPro & Access WageEasy or training available
