We’re seeking a confident, reliable and self‑motivated Front Lift (FEL) Truck Driver to join our Mount Barker operations. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, can make decisions independently, and understands how to manage their run professionally without constant supervision. You’ll be working around 10 hours per day, servicing general waste customers across the region, supported by a national leader in waste management services.

Responsibilities

This is a hands-on, active driving role operating a Front Lift truck in the Mount Barker area. You’ll complete daily general‑waste collections, maintain safe equipment operation, and uphold strong customer service standards. All drivers complete a full induction at the Wingfield depot, followed by ongoing support — after which you’ll be based in Mount Barker with autonomy over your daily run.

- Operating a Front Lift (FEL) truck safely and efficiently
- Completing general waste collections across scheduled commercial routes
- Conducting pre-start checks and maintaining equipment standards




- Managing your run with minimal supervision and making sound decisions on the job Communicating effectively with the operations team when required
- Maintaining accurate paperwork and run information
- Representing the company professionally on customer sites

Your Profile

- Confident, capable driver able to work independently
- Someone who takes pride in their work and operates safely at all times
- Strong decision-making skills Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards
- Comfortable working in a role that is not heavily monitored day-to-day Current HR or HC licence (mandatory)
- Previous FEL experience preferred, but training may be provided for the right person Hours & Conditions Approx. 10-hour days

- Induction and training provided at Wingfield before being based in Mount Barker
