About the Role

We are seeking a highly capable and motivated Business Support Officer to join our Governance Legal and Risk Services Team for a for a 12-month parental leave cover prospect. This is a fantastic chance to play a key role in a high performing team that supports critical organisational functions.

In this role, you will work independently and proactively, to deliver high quality, timely and comprehensive administrative and coordination support. You will be a trusted point of contact, contributing to the smooth operation of the team and supporting effective decision making.

Key responsibilities of the role will include the following:

- Preparing and coordinating reports, correspondence and other professional documentation
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry within record management system
- Administer basic financial transactions
- Prioritise issues on behalf of management and team members
- Coordinate diary management, scheduling meetings and support governance processes
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and business practices

About you





To be successful in this role you will bring:

- Proven senior administration experience within a large and complex organisation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Highly developed organisational and time-management skills with an ability to juggle competing priorities and deliver results
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Analytical skills, with the ability to source information and produce high quality documents and reports
- Advanced computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in identifying, initiating and supporting continuous business improvements
